10-Day Travel Trajectory

There’s so much of Italy to see…

We get it. Travel planning can feel overwhelming. And we’re here to help you! This itinerary is ideal for a perfect first trip to Italy

Venice

2 Nights

Your first two days will be spent in Venice’s “floating city” where a mesmerizing blend of history, culture, and mouth-watering food awaits you. This city is a living museum with its intricate maze of cobble-stone streets, canals, ancient bridges, and the rich mosaic of architectural styles.

Florence

3 Nights

Next, you’ll venture to Florence, nestled in the heart of Tuscany. Prepare to experience some of history’s most iconic artists like Leonardo da Vinci and Michelangelo.

Of course, Florence is known for much more than its Renaissance masterpieces. You will also taste some of its most mouth-watering culinary delights as you stroll along the banks of the Arno.

Rome

2 Nights

As you bid farewell to Florence, it’s time to say “Buongiorno” to Italy’s capital city… once home to the Roman Empire. This ancient city will thrust you back in time to a world of epic gladiator face-offs in the colosseum along with the Vatican City’s splendor, the storied Sistine Chapel, and much more.

That said, it wouldn’t be Italy if the city’s fascinating history wasn’t paired with some delicious local cuisine.

Amalfi Coast

3 Nights

For dramatic cliff views, picturesque villages, lemon groves, vibrant Mediterranean culture, and one of the world’s most stunning coastlines… look no further than “The Divine Coast”.

Amalfi’s beauty is so scenic it is a regular backdrop for movies, and it was even given UNESCO World Heritage designation. Not to mention, it’s also home of culinary delights — such as limoncello: the perfect digestivo after a rich and fulfilling trip to Italy.

When To Travel

Italy is a destination you can visit any time of the year. However, summers can become quite hot, and tourist crowds tend to increase significantly. For a more comfortable experience, consider traveling in the spring or early autumn. The weather remains sunny, but it’s much more enjoyable to explore the cities after the peak summer heat has passed.

Very easy! The train system in Italy allows you to cover a lot of space in a short amount of time. You can go from North to South in two weeks while hitting some of the most iconic locations along the way. Italy is one of the best countries to explore without the stress of travel.
I highly recommend spending at least 10 days in Italy, but 12-14+ days is ideal. This allows you to see so much of the country and enjoy the places you visit along the way without feeling rushed or overwhelmed.
Italy is one of the best countries in Europe for Airbnbs! Whether looking for a stunning penthouse with views or just small comforts of being centrally located, Airbnb is a fantastic option.
